NEW TRUCK DELIVERY - Challenge Implements
New truck delivery for the Challenge Implements!
Congratulations to Craig, Alex and the team at Challenge Implements on taking delivery of their new Kenworth T909.
Challenge Implements, also known as Challenge, is a fully Australian-owned third-generation family company with its major manufacturing plant situated in Orange. Challenge commenced manufacturing agricultural implements in Orange NSW in 1957 with two employees and a capital of less than £500. The year 1962 marked the release of the first Challenge front-end loader along with a three-point linkage grader. These products gained immediate market acceptance and established the brand name ‘Challenge’ as implements of good design, robust in construction and offering value for money. Challenge continues to grow having expanded its operations to Ballarat VIC and Toowoomba QLD.
When it was time for a new truck, Alex worked closely with us to build the perfect truck spec'd to their exact needs. The challenge (pardon the pun) was getting the T909 to work with the trailers to meet all regulations. After many hours we achieved the desired outcome. And the finished product.... Awesome.
This truck is set up for comfortable and safe travelling for 2 people with twin air ride seats, a slave air conditioner in the bunk that cools or heats while the truck is travelling, a Coolabah bunk air conditioner for when it's stopped, a CustomAir TV, microwave and Inverter just to make the time away more comfortable.
Powered by a Cummins X15 with an 18 speed Eaton Ultrashift and Meritor diffs, this truck is the perfect spec for Challenges application.
Thanks to Customair, RC Metalcraft, Bar Up Bullbars, TruckArt Wagga Wagga, Dubbo Truck Alignments, Dubb Vegas Detailing & Automotive services and the team at Inland Truck Centres in Wagga and Dubbo.
